That vest is slick, beautiful and bad-ass. I love your use of diagonals and different textures. I would love to see closeups of your fabric/material choices and stitching techniques..although I'm sure some of those are trade secrets.

Lately I'm using a ton of vinyl, I'm loving the faux-skins and scales I'm finding. Organic textures always inspire me :-)

The stitch work is pretty standard, the vest is vinyl with a quilted lining and then I straight-stitch the edges twice. I then do a nice thick embroidered line for effect.
